AGC Committees


Education Committee - Responsible for all management education programs, educational programming initiatives affecting all area of the construction industry. Also, serves as liaison to MSOE, UWM, Marquette University.

Young Constructor Forum - Young construction professionals gather, socialize, and network on a monthly basis with an emphasis on continued education and an overall positive contribution to the community.

Project Manager’s Forum – New AGC forum dedicated to facilitating project manager interaction for purposes of discussing best practices and developing solutions to common construction issues.

Government Affairs Committee - Develops legislative goals and initiatives, reviews all legislation and regulation affecting the construction industry, as well as serves as political affairs committee.

Insurance & Surety Committee - Responsible for all matters associated with insurance affecting the construction industry. Develops educational programming on insurance related topics and monitors insurance regulatory issues.

Safety Committee - Promotes cutting edge construction safety initiatives and drug testing. Serves as liaison to OSHA and reviews and recommends new safety initiatives.

Safety Leaders Forum - Construction industry safety professionals meet once a month (dinner meeting) to hear experts speak on various safety topics.

Mold Task Force - Ad hoc task force developed to combat issues associated with mold in construction and also make policy recommendations.

Labor Policy Committees - Establish all labor policy and responsible for collective bargaining agreements affecting the following crafts: carpenters, laborers, operating engineers, cement finishers, bricklayers.

AGC of America Committees - National level structure representing 65 committees that affect all facets of the construction industry.
